London Gay Symphonic Winds’ next concert will be themed around the Seven Deadly Sins. The event, taking place on October 8th at St. Sepulchre-Without-Newgate, Holborn Viaduct, will be hosted by hilarious London-based comedian Cally Beaton.
Cally will be your guide as LGSW explores Wrath with ‘Mars, The Bringer of War’ from Holst’s Planet Suite, goes green with Envy with ‘Selections from Wicked’ and even indulges in a bit of Lust with music from Prokofiev’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’. Together with that, you’ll enjoy music from musicals such as ’Chicago’ and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, enjoy timeless classics from Debussy and Elgar and even take a trip to Middle Earth for music from ‘The Hobbits’.
‘Seven Deadly Sins’ promises to be an ‘sin-sational’ evening of humour, emotion and great tunes.
The concert is taking place at 7.30pm on 8th October at St Sepulchre-Without-Newgate, Holborn Viaduct, EC1A 2DQ. Tickets cost £8 in advance and £10 on the door.
