Diversity & Inclusion
As well as making great music, one of the LGSW's charitable objectives is to promote equality and diversity for the public benefit.
We do this through our membership, our concerts (which take place in London and beyond), our social media (where we mark important dates in the LGBTQ+ calendar), and our engagement with other organisations and charities who share similar ambitions.
The LGSW Committee, Musical Directors and the wider band membership promote an inclusive environment for all at rehearsals. For many, the band is an LGBTQ+ safe space where they can interact with others from all walks of life.
We welcome members of all genders and gender identities, all sexual orientations, all ethnicities, and all social backgrounds.
